Brooklyn, NY. May 20, 2025 – Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition & Brooklyn Mushroom proudly announce the international juried art exhibition “FUNGI.” This all-fungi art show features the work of 40 international juried artists presenting visual art, sculpture, sound, video, and performance inspired by the fascinating world of fungi. Join us in exploring where art, science, psychedelics, and biology intersect.
Three of Rossi’s paintings were juried into this exhibition. They explore the intersection of abstraction and fungi — polypores and lichen, fungus and algae living in a symbiotic relationship. The selected paintings are: Polypore, Lichen Love II and Pink Bodies. They will be on display at the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in Brooklyn, NY from June 7 through June 29, 2025.
Fungi, one of the most mysterious and least understood realms in biology, holds the power to influence, sustain, and even kill us. This multimedia art show brings together diverse creative expressions — including, but not limited to, visual art, sculpture, sound art, video, and performance — all inspired by the world of fungi.
